Vocational Education & Training Student Loans (VSLs) are designed to help students cover their tuition fees for VET courses.
VET Student Loans (VSL) is a high-level Australian Government student loan program that assists eligible VET students with their tuition fees. The program provides financial support in order to create better employment opportunities for students pursuing higher-level training courses that meet workplace and industry needs.
In order to apply for a VSL, you must, at the least, be enrolled in a diploma-level course.

Australian government loans and grants assist eligible VET students with their tuition fees through the VET Student Loan program.
Until your loan is repaid, it remains a personal debt and may reduce your take-home pay (after taxes) and borrowing ability.
The Australian government decides how much you can borrow to cover tuition fees.
In contrast to traditional student loans, VET Student Loans only cover tuition fees, not textbooks, supplies, or housing costs.
